WebAug 6, 2024 · Had a water pump leak (cracked plastic housing). Put the new one in. Should have left the old belt on. But attempted to change the belt. My mistake, I did not get a new bolt on the balance shaft. I removed the old one and out the belt in and tightened it (reverse threaded). But eventually the bolt broke. I dont believe I tightened it that hard.
